    • Winchester has faced traffic chaos this week with a major route into the city closed to vehicles.  
    • A crash at a notorious road junction near Winchester has prompted fresh calls for improvements. 
  • The Chief Executive of Hampshire Hospitals says she’s proud of all the staff who work for the Trust and will miss them the most when she steps down from her role later this year.  She spoke to Winchester Radio’s Anna O’Brien

    • More than 300 people have signed a petition to save the day centre at Chesil Lodge, which is threatened with closure due to council budget cuts 
    • A special service is being held at Winchester Cathedral next Sunday to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.  
    • Another independent shop in Winchester has announced its closure.  
  • Hundreds of cyclists took to the streets of Winchester last weekend for the mass bike ride. We talk to cyclists from Abbots Barton who joined in.

    • Train passengers are being warned of engineering work this weekend.  
    • Hampshire fire and rescue has appointed its first female Chief. Sabrina Cohan Hatton will start her new role later this year.
    • Dame Kelly Holmes was the special guest at the Winchester Junior ParkRun last Sunday.  
    • BBC Springwatch presenter Megan McCubbin has officially opened a new garden at Winnall Primary School.  We hear from the presenter and some of the pupils. 
  • The King Alfred buses will be out and about on Monday for the annual May Running Day. This year the Friends of King Alfred Buses charity celebrate its 40th anniversary and we hear from Chairman James Freeman.

  • Finally we wave-off Brother John from the Hospital of St Cross, who set off on Thursday to tour the UK by bus.
