- A community group is hoping to reopen a building on a Winchester estate and turn it back into a shop. For many years the Barn Store was a much loved shop in Abbots Barton but since it closed over a decade ago, the building has fallen into disrepair. We talk to the local councillor.

- A special afternoon tea party has been held at Victoria Hall in Sutton Scotney by the care provider Everycare to honour all the unpaid carers in the community.
- To the over 1000 children aged 8 to 11 took over the Winchester Sports and Leisure Park last week for the annual School Games Festival.
- To all those who took part in a special award ceremony in Winchester by the charity Read Easy.
- To the organisers of this year’s St Cross Fete. It attracted around 2,000 people in glorious sunshine last Saturday.
- It’s Hat Fair day tomorrow. Dozens of street entertainers will be out and about in Winchester city centre entertaining the crowds. We revisit the People’s Piano which will also be available for use on Saturday.
