- A new initiative has been launched in Winchester to try to reduce loneliness. A “chatter and natter” table has been set up at one city centre café – where anyone can sit and meet others. We hear from the organiser.

- A service has been held at Winchester Cathedral this week to mark Holocaust Memorial day.
- Two men have been arrested as part of a burglary investigation in the Winchester, Basingstoke and Alton areas.
- The finishing touches are being made to a new project to help the homeless. Work started in October on three emergency accommodation rooms at Trinity Winchester.

- A special anniversary has been marked on St Giles Hill. 130 years ago this month, work began to expand the park by incorporating land donated by Lord Northbrook. We joined a tree planting ceremony to mark the occasion.
