- Hampshire Police this week trialled facial recognition technology in Winchester, in a bid to catch wanted offenders. We talk to Police and to people in the city about what they think of the idea.

- Police are appealing for information following two burglaries in Winchester, in which the two Oxfam charity shops were targeted.
- Meanwhile Winchester Police have been patrolling rural car parks, after an increase in theft from vehicles in the area.
- The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Ambulance service is moving its base from Thruxton near Andover to a site near Southampton airport and has started its biggest fundraising campaign.
- More than 300 people attended a recent Jobs and Opportunities Fair in Winchester.
- New bus, walking and cycling routes in Winchester have been announced this week by the County Council.
- New businesses are hoping to come to the city centre. A planning application has been submitted for a farm shop and a Sushi food outlet.
- The hoardings started being removed today from the former Debenhams department store.
- It’s the final weekend of the Hampshire Heritage Open Days. We hear about more events planned and visit an exhibition called Winchester Today, Winchester Yesterday at the Heritage Centre in Upper Brook Street.

- To Winchester’s United Church which celebrates its 50th anniversary this month.

- It’s a date in many people’s calendars. The Littleton and Harestock show has been taking place since 1921 and it draws crowds from across the city and beyond. Winchester Radio went along.
- Finally some good news about a campaign to save a Girl Guiding centre in the New Forest used by youngsters from across the city. Winchester Now has followed the story in the past, and it now looks like it has been saved for future generations.
