- A new pavilion at the King George V playing fields in Winchester is nearing completion.
- Winchester’s Body Shop is to remain open. It’s one of 116 stores across the country to be saved after the firm went into administration.
- Peregrine falcons Winnie and William have been spotted at Winchester Cathedral. The webcams were turned on a few weeks ago ahead of the birds returning to their annual nesting spot.
- The Chesil Theatre has had sell out shows for its Take Ten writing festival which attracted 250 entries. We talk to the producer.
